Other names:: What is an Outdoor Grill? In finnish these are called Nuotiopaikka / Tulipaikka / Grillikota / Grillikodat / grillipaikat: This all translates to a campfire spot / outdoor grill. Every hiking trail in Finland has some outdoor fire pit set up, benches around it and usually a woodpile, axe and saw you can use. Most will also have a grill on top of the fire pit where you can cook food. Some are covered, but most are not.
