Description: This is a large hut right on the very popular Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park hiking trail. There is a stream 50 meters from the hut for water. Dogs are not allowed. The hut has two sections. One is paid & one is free. This section is free (Free Open Wilderness Hut): It can hold 16 people. First come first serve basis. No reservation needed. If there are 16 people in the hut, and a new traveler comes, basically the rule is the person who has been at the hut the longest should leave.
