Description: The Vetotaipale campfire site is located along the Kainuu Tervareitti kayaking route in the Lentua nature reserve. It is a technically called a "isthmus" as it connects to islands (Vitikkosaari and Kotasaari). There are long sandy beaches you can walk along with usually no one around. You need to portage your canoe / kayak from one lake to another and this provides a nice stopping area.
