How to get here?: There is a daily ferry that leaves from Sipoo Kalkkiranta, from a company called Pörtö Line: https://www.portoline.net/pirttisaari/ You can take a public bus to Kalkkiranta Land your boat at Svartviken pier where the water is deep Kayakers, there are small sandy beaches close to Svartviken and Lerviken

Other names:: What is an Open Campfire Hut? Many cities build whats called in Finnish "Keittokatos." This translates to “Cooking Shelter” or “Kitchen canopy" in Finnish. We call them open campfire huts.fi. There are many different varieties, but the basic idea is there is there is an outdoor grill but it is covered with a roof. But the building is usually not fully enclosed, it is "open" to the weather. Most will have picnic benches inside where you can sit and enjoy a meal. Some will have firewood, axe and saw.
