Description: On the astern end of Lake Ontojärvi there is Jämäslahti Bay, there is an old timber transportation site which now serves as the Jämäs boat harbor. Jämäki has a slipway for about 15 boats and a concrete boat ramp maintained by the City of Kuhmo. You can park your car here so it is a good location for the start of kayak or boat trips.
