Description: Ähtäri Zoo Camping is a four-star camping area located near the Ähtäri Animal Park and Hotel Mesikämmeni in Mekkoranta. The area offers 80 electric pitches for caravans, a tent area, and 15 rental camping cabins. The area also features nature trails, a beach, barbecue shelters, and campfire sites. The camping reception is located at Hotel Mesikämmene and is open from summer 2025. The camping area reception closed in summer 2025, but the electrical sites and tent area are still open in autumn.
