Description: The Pulkkilanharju nature trail in Päijänne National Park offers stunning lake and ridge landscape views, suitable for all ages. The trail features the Pulkkilanharju Ridge, an eight-kilometer-long string of islands connected by bridges, and is part of a nationally valuable landscape area. Pulkkilanharju is an internationally representative example of the last ice age, formed from meltwater deposited by a glacial river around 11,500 years ago.
