Description: The Elimyssalo nature reserve is a wide / old wilderness in Northern Kainuu. It has many different bogs, dense spruce forests, stream, lakes and ponds. There are many different hiking trails and you are also allowed to go off trail, and explore on your own. You can hop on and off this trail at many different points. For example one section of this trail is the Elimysjärvi Circuit 13 km which starts from Lake Saari-Kiekki and goes around Lake Elimysjärvi.
