Description: Iso Tuomivaara biking trail goes to the highest peak in the region of Kainuu (Tuomivaara). Most of the of route is on gravel forest roads or dirt forest paths. The route is well marked and easy to navigate. This is a large loop, you start & end from Ukkohalla and runs through mainly pine forests. The route is very beautiful in the summer & into the fall (end of September). It is an easy route that is good for beginners, although there are some rocky sections and elevation changes.
