Description: Jämäs kayaking route is around 12 km long. It starts from the center of Kuhmo at maakunnanranta. Which is a very easy beach to get in and free parking near by. There are 2 rapids (Pajakkakoski & Akonkoski) along the route which makes this route not for beginners. Although the rapids are relatively easy to go through. Pajakkajoki River is fast, but in between these rapids it is slowler. The route goes through Pyssyniva, Saarikoski to Lake Ontojärvi, in Jämäslahti.
