Description: This kayaking route starts in Syväjoki (start at high tide) at the Komulanköngäs waterfall. And it follows the Syväjoki river to Lietejoki river and goes all the way down to Hyrynsalmi and Emäjoki. It is an easy route, with shallow rapids on the Syväjoki river side (class 1). On the Lietejoki river the rapids (class 2)are deeper and faster but can be kayaked through. There are many huts on the way for a resting place or to stay overnight.
