Description: The Lentua Lake Canoeing Route, 19.5 km, is a scenic journey through the Lentua nature reserve in Kajaani. This route offers a unique experience with its rugged beauty and wild nature. The lake is known for its wide backwaters and sheltered islands, with natural beaches and campfire sites. The route is part of the Tervareit canoeing route between Änättijärvi and Kajaani. If you look at the map the island of Lehtosaari has a nice free sauna & autiotupa so you can also stay overnight on the island for free.
