Finland Campfire Spots

Pinniäinen Pirtti is a historical river cabin & sauna located in Lehtimäki's Western Village. Likely constructed in the 18th century and relocated in the 19th century, it served as temporary accommodation for farmers from Kirkonkylä working on fields. Today, the site serves as a historical area to come see, there is a campfire area suitable for grilling next to the cabin.

There is an outdoor grill / campfire site next to the Hakasuo mill, along the Varisjoki River, which has been grinding grain for almost a century. Very close to Lake Kivesjärvi and Lake Oulujärvi, the Hakasuon 6 km nature trail starts from there and if you look at the map a larger biking trail passes. through here.

A public spot managed by the city next to the beach where you can have a campfire. There is no firewood, but the hotel / spa sells firewood for 10€ a bundle.

The Komulanköngää campfire site is located right next to the Komulanköngää waterfalls and the old mill.

Österhankmo Grill is located on a beautiful & well maintained beach. The hut has a nice grill and wood next to it. There is also a second smaller outdoor grill on the right side of the beach. See Österhankmo Beach for more details about the beach. Karika hiking trail starts at this beach and goes to Karika Tower & grill just 1 km away

Rastplats Grill is a very isolated place. It is hard to find, a little difficult to get to, so not many people come. It's not much more than an outdoor grill, but it is right next the ocean, there is wood for a fire.

Hankmo Stairs is the start of a hiking or ski trail. On the top of the hill, behind the stairs, there is an outdoor grill.

Slätkärr Outdoor Grill is located on a large network of ski tracks that is maintained by the Hankmo sports association. The ski tracts connect Väster and Östethankmo. Places to start: Daycare center (Eidisbackvägen 150) Hankmo stairs (Västerhankmovägen 258 If you start at the stairs, it is only a 1 km Hike on a nice wood chip path to Slätkärr Outdoor Grill. The BBQ area is not that busy, so usually you will be alone.

Kvarnträsk Outdoor Grill (Nuotiopaikka) is part of the Petsmo hiking trail. Which is a network of 4 huts in a 12.5 km hiking route. This one is beautiful, and overlooks the lake

Currently Kuutamo Laavu & woodshed is destroyed. They will probably rebuild it soon. But it is still worth hiking out here. There are still 2 great spots to have a small campfire & really clean bio WC. The walk out & this location is very beautiful.

Stömssund Outdoor Grill is a basic fire pit stocked with wood. There are nice benches around the fire pit, a picnic table and nice bench by the lake. It is located in the Iskmo-Jungsund hiking trail, about 1 km away from Kråknås and about 2 km away from either Hallonnäs P1 parking (Tistronskärintie 98) or Jungsund parking lot (Jungsund)

Really nice beach / pier / outdoor grill right off the main road (3). The water is very clean, flows, beach sandy and no one around. Great place to launch a kayak or canoe or pitch a tent.

A campfire spot at the start of Hiidenportin kansallispuiston retkeilypolku (hiking trail). It is right near the parking lot. There is also a small cooking shelter next to it. This is a popular starting point for hiking in Hiidenportti National Park.

On the island of Iso-Kankainen

Harakkasaari is a nature reserve just outside of Kuhmo. It is known for long sandy beaches. In the winter you can ski or walk to the island. In the summer kayak or canoe.

Omat polttopuut mukaan

Koitelinkosken puuliiteriin toimitetaan polttopuita touko-lokakuun välisenä aikana, hiihtolomalla viikolla 10 ja pääsiäisenä. Muina aikoina nuotiopaikoilla voi tulistella tuomalla omat puut mukanaan.

Espoon Korkeasaari sijaitsee Westendin edustalla Tvijälpin itäpuolella. Saarella on tulentekopaikka, muttei muita palveluita. Telttailu ei ole sallittua.

Polttopuita voi hakea kesäisin maksutta luontokeskukselta sen aukioloaikojen puitteissa. Muuten tuodaan omat polttopuut mukana. Luontokeskukselta voi kesällä lainata yksikkökajakkeja ja soutuveneitä. Lainaus 18-vuotta täyttäneille tai 15-vuotta täyttäneille vanhemman kirjallisella luvalla. Laitteet palautetaan viimeistään 10 minuuttia ennen sulkemisaikaa.

Nuotiokehä. Savottapolku kulkee tämän kautta. Tien toisella puolella löytyy kaivo.

Pinokari on vanha kalastajatila, josta päärakennus on palanut vuonna 1977. Rannassa ei ole laituria, mutta muutama pienvene sopii rantaan. Isommilla veneillä voi ajaa Päivärannan laituriin ja kävellä sieltä polkuja pitkin Pinokariin, matkaa tulee kilometrin verran. Varauslato, missä voi yöpyä. Ei puuhuoltoa. Kesäisin lampaita.

Iso Vasikkasaari on osittain esteetön, mutta avustajan vaativa, ulkoilusaari. Saari sijaitsee Matinkylän edustalla. Telttailu saarella ei ole sallittua. Saarella on kahvila ja kesäravintola. Lisäksi saaren palvelutarjontaan kuuluu keittokatokset, kesä-wc ja inva-wc, puucee, polttopuut, uimaranta, näköalatorni, frisbeegolfrata,kiinnityspoijuja ja -lenkkejä, saaristovenelaituri säännöllisin liikenneyhteyksin kesäkaudella ja beachvolleykenttä.

Vähä-Kausjärven taukopaikalla kaksi nuotiopaikkaa polttopuineen ja esteetön ulkokäymälä. Soveltuu myös liikuntarajoitteisille.

Kenttäsaari tulentekopaikka

Rokua UNESCO Global Geopark Oulujoki Lemmenpolku, Oulujokilaakson Tervareitistö, Montta-Pyhäkosken Kala-apaja Muhos makkaranpaisto Lemmenpolun nuotiopaikkoja ylläpidetään toukokuusta syyskuun loppuun.

Kattilajärven ulkoilualue sijaitsee melko ison ja kirkasvetisen Kattilajärven rannalla. Maasto on kallioista ja vaihtelevaa. Lähistöllä sijaitsee partiolaisten leirikeskus. Keittokatos ja hyvä uimaranta laitureineen tekevät paikasta hyvän telttailukohteen.
