Description
Hiukka-Pöllyvaara winter cycling route (or winter walking) is a winter biking route. You start at Hiukan Beach and bike to Pöllyvaara in winter along the shoreline of Lake Sapsojärvi when it is frozen, enjoying beautiful scenery. It includes a three-kilometer track on the ice and a challenging five-kilometer loop in the forest with views of three lakes when you reach the top of Pöllyvaara hill. The lakes are: Sapsojärvi, Sotkamojärvi and Kiimasjärvi.
