Seppälä sauna is the wood-heated sauna in the yard of Metsähallitus rental hut Seppälä, deep in the southern part of Koli National Park in Kontiolahti, North Karelia. It is not a public shift sauna: the yard, campfire spot, and sauna are for the exclusive use of whoever has booked the whole Seppälä hut through Eräluvat.fi, with check-in from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00 on the reservation day. A roughly 300-metre shortcut links the yard to the Lake Herajärvi Circuit, and the Lake Herajärvi shore is about 700 metres away—handy if you want a dip between löyly sessions. The wider trail picture includes the Lake Herajärvi Circuit, Kiehinen Trail, Lakkala–Seppälä–Vesivaara trail, and Path to Metsäpirtti, all of which connect with this corner of the park.
