The hike is not a loop on our map. Walk either from the parking and lean-to cluster toward the racecourse fringe or reverse the line; longer approaches from Hiekkasärkät typically arrive at the tower end first.

About 25–45 minutes for the roughly 2 km path on our map at an easy pace with stops at the tower and fireplaces; allow half a day if you link in the full Meriluontokeskus approach or the longer Hiekkasärkät boardwalk corridor.
