Ulkopauha Island (Ulkopauhan saari) has rocky shores and is surrounded by shoals, so landing on the shore is challenging. The island is approximately 900 m long and 170 m wide. The island is mainly covered with deciduous forest and there are dry heaths, which are significant in their representativeness. Ulkopauha has a Raahen Kalastajainseura hut and a campfire site that are open to the public. In addition, the island has a dry toilet, a campfire site and benches, and an information board.

Varvin Pooki is a 29 meter enclosed campfire hut that can be rented. It is located on Varsin Beach. The cabin can fit 42 people.

No. Huts.fi is an independent Finnish platform. While we work with official open-data sets from organizations like Metsähallitus, we are a private entity.
Yes. Accessing our maps, trail data, and field information is currently free for all users.
We operate on a community-first model: we provide the platform, and our users help keep it accurate by sharing real-time updates (e.g., Is there firewood at the laavu? or Is the sand field dry enough to play?).
