KIVIJÄRVI LAAVU is lean to shelter in the Pilvilammi area that is part of a large network of cool connected trails. There is a large stock of wood, a fireplace, WC, and it is right on a hiking / ski trial. Vaasan Latu maintains the trials, huts, woods and outdoor sporting events. Forms of exercise in the area include skiing, walking, Nordic walking, snowshoeing, cycling, cross-country skiing, camping and kayaking. The geocaching and frisbee golf.

Eetun Piilo Laavu is worth the hike. It is part of the large network of Pilvilampi hiking area. This one is unique because it has an enclosed hut. Which is super nice in the winter as you can stay a lot warmer. There is good amount of wood stocked, WC, and connections to other trails.

Höstvesi Laavu is a hut that is part of pilvilammen nature trail. This one is a popular on the weekends because it is so close to a parking lot (63.0797092, 21.7648159) and you can easily bike here from Vaasa. But with 2 grills there is room for many. It is also close to 2 other huts that are deeper in the forest. (see map)

Öjbergetin taukotupa is an enclosed hut near the nearby ski hill / hiking trial.


NÄRVÄNMUTKA is a very large Laavu nPilvilampi Nature Trail. This is recently rebuilt, with a very large canopy and 2 grills. It is a very popular spot for families with kids, especially on the weekends. There is also a smaller outdoor grill just 20 meters away closer to the lake. You can walk or bike here. In the winter there are great ski tracks. There is a large network of trails that have other laavu.
