Fjärdskär Grill & Tower is an area of around 3 km. The main feature is a large open hut that has many benches inside with a very nice outdoor grill. There is a shed for wood, WC. The location is right by Raippaluoto bridge, the ocean, and a beach.

Rudträsk Laavu is a very popular hut on the Petsmo hiking trail, with 3 locations for a fire. The main firepit is basically on a pier the lake with many areas to sit. The other 2 have canopy's that protect front the rain or snow. It is only a 2 km Hike from the nearest car park, or .5 km if you want to cheat and take your car past the parking lot, left at the harbor, and park where the no car park sign is. If this hut is full of people, there is also a cool grill spot called Kvarnträsk, just 1 km Hike away.

KIVIJÄRVI LAAVU is lean to shelter in the Pilvilammi area that is part of a large network of cool connected trails. There is a large stock of wood, a fireplace, WC, and it is right on a hiking / ski trial. Vaasan Latu maintains the trials, huts, woods and outdoor sporting events. Forms of exercise in the area include skiing, walking, Nordic walking, snowshoeing, cycling, cross-country skiing, camping and kayaking. The geocaching and frisbee golf.

A wilderness hut next to a small lake in the Iskmo-Jungsund hiking trail. Which in total is a 12 km Hike. It is a nice open Wilderness Hut, great protection from the wind & snow, with the fireplace in front of it. Picnic bench. Also stocked wood, axe, and saw.

A really cool laavu / Hut / Pavilion in the Iskmo-Junsund Hiking Trail. The hut is much more enclosed, with a picnic bench inside. Protects from the weather very nicely. It is also located all around water, do there is a nice view to the lake. There is a large terrace around the laavu. The terrace includes a BBQ grill, tables and benches. There is also a wood shed with wood, axe and saw. Donate some money for wood, so theu keep stocking it.

Cool hut / Gazebo that is covered in glass. It is really nice in the winter since the glass keeps the place warmish" when you have a good fire going. Easy to grill here. There is an outside fire pit too. Sometimes they have wood you can use. There are small hiking trails near by. There is a nice harbor you can launch a kayak, canoe, or go ski in the winter.

A laavu (grilling hut) next to the ocean. The fire pit has a nice clean grill net for BBQ. And you can sit inside the hut. There is usually wood stocked in a near by shed (sometimes there is no wood). There is an axe & saw to cut wood. It is next to a large pier. Many people fish off the dock, and catch pike or small perch. You can come by kayak in the summer, skis in the winter starting from Norra Vallgrund Beach or the boring but affective way of driving and parking in the Vartiatuva parking area. From there you just walk down the walking path. There is a network of trails to other areas in Sommarö & other areas in Raippaluoto.

Petsmo grillkota is an enclosed hut that has a fire pit inside. This is great for the winter as you can stay a lot warmer. It is located near a beautiful and very well maintained beach. There is a 2nd fire pit right on the beach, next to the picnic bench. Easy to get to, and you can drive your car all the way there.

Eetun Piilo Laavu is worth the hike. It is part of the large network of Pilvilampi hiking area. This one is unique because it has an enclosed hut. Which is super nice in the winter as you can stay a lot warmer. There is good amount of wood stocked, WC, and connections to other trails.

Höstvesi Laavu is a hut that is part of pilvilammen nature trail. This one is a popular on the weekends because it is so close to a parking lot (63.0797092, 21.7648159) and you can easily bike here from Vaasa. But with 2 grills there is room for many. It is also close to 2 other huts that are deeper in the forest. (see map)

Öjbergetin taukotupa is an enclosed hut near the nearby ski hill / hiking trial.

A free wilderness hut that you can sleep overnight in. It has a fireplace & old equipment you can use to cook a meal. A cool day kayak trip is starting from Vikarskat harbor, and kayaking to the bay in front of the hut. Another alternative is taking the hiking trail from the habor to the hut (2.5 km each way). There is a shed for wood but it has not been stocked for years. The hut is old, basic, but it works to sleep overnight. There is just one large room with a fireplace, people have left various cooking equipment (not that clean), and then there are two ladders to 2 lofts where you can sleep. Särkiträsk Laavu is a brand new hut that is part of Petsmo hiking trail. The trail is 12.5 km in total and has other huts you can stop at. This hit is next to a beautiful lake. There is a BBQ fire pit outside and also inside the laavu. It is also only .6 km from the nearest parking spot (63.2442217, 21.8189821).

The fishing Kyrönjoki flows through Isonkyrö. The popular lure tuning places are eight rapids, some of which have campfire sites and lean -to. The Isonkyrö Fisheries Club makes every year rainbow trout plantings in the Kyrönjoki Isonkyrö area. There are 8 different types of rapids in the area where you can fish and excellent beaches, for example for worms. When fishing with a lure, the Isonkyrö Fisheries Society and the 18-65 year old state fishery management fee are required. The worm-approaching is forbidden in the regions. Salmon fishing is 2 salmon fish/day. The river thrives on sea trout, rainbow trout, grayling, whitefish, sorcerer, pike, perch, nipple and Madek. Fisheries have been limited by catch quota and some restrictions. Fishing permits sell; Barbecue Café Tarjantti, Barbecue Café Karolin, R-kiosk, POP Bank and Ylihärmä Savings Bank. NÄRVÄNMUTKA is a very large Laavu nPilvilampi Nature Trail. This is recently rebuilt, with a very large canopy and 2 grills. It is a very popular spot for families with kids, especially on the weekends. There is also a smaller outdoor grill just 20 meters away closer to the lake. You can walk or bike here. In the winter there are great ski tracks. There is a large network of trails that have other laavu.

There is a very modest hut you can rent if you stay on the island. There is (1) a tiny room for 2 (2) a larger room for 10 (3) a larger room for 20. All bunk beds. The two larger rooms have a kitchen & stove.

Mustasaaren urheilupuisto is a grillipaikka next to the Botniahalli & sports track. There is a shed for wood (last time it was empty) and an outdoor grill under a large roof. There is also a nice walking / ski path with outdoor fitness equipment. It also has lights that can be turned on. In the winter there is a maintained ski track.

Kuni Hut is on Kuni's hiking trail (Kunin vaellusreitti). This Outdoor Hut / Grill is located on the intersection of Bastuholmsvägen and Kåtakärrvägen. You can also drive to it.
