Torpparintaival is about 6.2 km as a circular day hike in Seitsemisen National Park, beginning and ending near the Kovero heritage farm in Ikaalinen, Pirkanmaa. Completing the ring brings you back toward Koverolampi telttailualue, Koverolampi tulentekopaikka, and Koverolampi laituri; tent pitches and a launch sit close together for swimmers and overnight visitors who combine the day loop with a shore night. The same trailhead area connects logically to Luontokeskus-Koveron perinnetila toward Seitsemisen luontokeskus exhibits, and to Uittajanpolku if you want a much longer lakeshore itinerary toward Saari-Soljanen and Multiharju. Length & route

Getting there

Most walkers drive to Kovero pysäköintilaue at Seitsemisentie 948, Ikaalinen, photograph the map board beside the car park, and start through the Kovero farmyard toward trail markers. Multiharju pysäköintialue at Jaulintie 732 is an alternative entry on the opposite side of the ring with its own map board access. Buses are not described for either trailhead in these sources; expect a private car or taxi stages from Ikaalinen or nearby towns.

Good to know

Open fires are allowed only at designated fireplaces and during permitted conditions; follow national park fire and camping rules on Luontoon.fi before you strike a match. Respect Multiharju off-trail restrictions to protect the old-growth reserve. If you extend toward Kirkaslampi or other junction trails, carry a map because several stacked routes share signage in the park centre.
