Description

Kullaan Trail is about 12.5 km as a day hike in Raisio, Southwest Finland, linking the Kerttula sports area with forested hills toward Haunisten. You begin near Kerttulan urheilukenttä Kerttula and the surrounding Kerttula campus: ice halls, tennis, disc golf, outdoor gym, fitness stairs, and school fields sit within a few hundred metres of the start—useful if you combine a walk with other activities. The official access description runs from the end of the main sports hall across Kerttulantie onto Vesakkuja and over the bridge across Raumantie. After the built-up edge, the path climbs toward Kullaanvuori: about 3.9 km from the start you reach Kullaanvuoren laavu with a campfire place, and near Kullanvuoren näkötorni you can climb the lookout tower for views over the surrounding countryside. Farther along the line, the route passes Fit Raisio and Haunisten koirankoulutuskenttä, then Haunisten päivätaukokatos where you connect to the shoreline shelters and disc golf of Haunistenpolku and to Ruskojoen melontareitti for paddlers on the same day out. The trail is about 12.5 km on our map. The City of Raisio lists the same hike at about 11.5 km—some local tables round the distance slightly. Getting there

Main start: Kerttulan liikuntakeskus at Kisakatu 3, Raisio, with parking; follow the city’s walking directions from the hall end over Kerttulantie to Vesakkuja and the bridge over Raumantie. A second seasonal start is described at Rusko ski centre: do not walk on groomed ski tracks; in deep snow a separate walking line toward Kullaanvuori is marked from the turn from Hujalantie toward the ski-centre road, with parking noted near the barn building.
