The Karisalmi bridge summer kiosk in Asikkala, near Päijänne National Park, offers a small café-restaurant serving refreshments, ice cream, and small savory and sweet items during the summer.

A cafe on some ski, snowmobile and hiking trails in Vuokatti. The ski slope café is located along the illuminated ski slope. During the ski season we are open daily, otherwise by appointment.

The Kurimo Cultural Trail starts at this restaurant. You can park for free here. The house is over 100 years old and now serves as a restaurant. It is open Monday to Friday from 10 - 16. At the top of the hill, hidden in the forest there is a small log cabin that has a small cafe. It has been serving tourist since 1937! The cafe is open during both the winter and summer seasons. You can reach there area by bike, hiking, skiing or running the fitness trail.

If you time it right, you can enjoy some traditional Finnish Karjalanpiirakat (Karelian pies) and rönttös in the wilderness. Very traditional finnish foods. The cafe is only open on Saturday from 9:00 - 13:00. The Lentiira Village Association's Piirakkapuoti and café is located in the village of Lentiira in Kuhmo.

Tellun Tupa is a cafe on Lake Saimaa in Pullinlaht open and is only open during the winter. You can get here by the ice road.

Pohjoinen Pirtti is a cozy café-restaurant serving delicious soup on weekends and home-baked pastries, buns, and doughnuts, all lactose-free and gluten-free options.

Ärjänsaari summer café is on Säipä's sandy beach and is open from early June to mid-August. Along with coffee and ice cream, you can rent SUP boards, kayaks, and bicycles from the summer café. Kustaanmiekka Terrace is an oasis for art and nature lovers. Open from Tuesday to Sunday 11-17, it offers warm tacos, ice creams, and drinks. Payment methods include bank and credit cards.

The Mieritz coffee shop, located in Seurasaari, offers a charming cottage / cozy atmosphere. Open from June and July, it serves delicacies like freshly baked buns, pies, organic coffee, tea, and juices. The shop also hosts private events, with space rental available for €60.00/hour during the week and €80.00/hour on weekends.

Restaurant Tila, located in the village of Hindsby, offers simple, locally prepared food and coffee, suitable for private and corporate events, courses, meetings, and concerts. The farm's yard offers stunning views of Sipoonkorvi National Park, and the farm's animals add a fresh touch. The restaurant uses wind power, solar collectors, and wood for heat. It has sustainable tourism certificates and sells cheeses, honey, sheep yarn, hides, and second-hand books. Kallvikinniemi kiosk café, a summer café at Kallahdenniemi beach, is open during good weather but not during regular hours. Maininki restaurant is located near Kallahti Kainalo beach.

The pop-up café near the main pier is open on Monday 28 July from 12-16. Sweet and savoury treats, as well as hot and cold drinks, are available. Payment is accepted by bank card, MobilePay and cash. Welcome to enjoy a summer day and the sea views.

Iisi Bistro is open daily from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, serving the best salmon soup in the archipelago and vegan lentil-sweet potato-coconut soup. Wine, refreshments, and a good mood by the sea are available. Reservations are accepted for terraces and private event spaces for larger groups.
